In this workshop, Robbie McIntosh guides participants toward a more intuitive, spontaneous and narrative way of photographing. His approach blurs the boundaries between genres and embraces improvisation as a creative force.
The workshop unfolds within the singular atmosphere of Venice. Its shifting light, unexpected encounters and layered textures naturally encourage observation and openness. Even without exploring far, participants learn how to find the unusual within the ordinary, how to anticipate the unforeseen and how to transform a fleeting moment into the beginning of a story.
Through a combination of shooting sessions, discussions and daily reviews, participants discover how to sharpen their vision, identify human and social narratives in their surroundings and build coherence in their work. Robbie shares his artistic process, focusing on intention, presence and the ability to respond to what unfolds in front of the lens.
The training culminates in a collective session where each participant presents a short photographic story shaped during the workshop.
