Shooting on film is not just a contemporary trend, but a true exercise in patience and technique. Analogue photography teaches us the value of waiting: every shot taken with a film camera is slower and more deliberate, removing the impulse to shoot compulsively. In this workshop, we will start from the fundamentals of photography, exploring its history and learning how to shoot and develop black-and-white film using simple tools that can also be used at home.
The course will be divided into three parts in detail:
Shooting: We will take one hour to shoot only 36 photographs. During this phase, I will guide you with technical advice and small tricks specific to analogue photography.
Developing: The most delicate phase, where the image appears and is fixed onto the acetate base. We will prepare the chemicals, load the rolls into the tanks, and develop our photographs.
Scanning: We will scan the negatives and analyse the results.

EXTRA INFORMATION
Workshop Fee
€165 per participant.
Required Equipment
35mm analogue camera (the ones that use standard film rolls; it does not need to be a Leica), notebook or tablet for notes.
35mm film, developing equipment, and chemicals will be provided.
Recommended Knowledge
A basic understanding of shutter speed, aperture, and ISO is recommended.
Accommodation
Travel expenses to and from the workshop venue, meals, and accommodation are not included in the participation fee.

Scattare in analogico non è solo una moda contemporanea, ma un vero esercizio di pazienza e tecnica. La fotografia analogica ci insegna l’importanza dell’attesa: ogni scatto con una macchina fotografica a pellicola è più lento e studiato, eliminando l’impulso di scattare in modo compulsivo. In questo workshop, partiremo dalle basi della fotografia, esplorando la sua storia e imparando a scattare e sviluppare pellicole in bianco e nero con strumenti semplici, utilizzabili anche a casa.
Nel dettaglio il corso sarà suddiviso in 3 parti:
Scatto: Ci prenderemo 1 ora di tempo per scattare soltanto 36 foto. Durante questa fase, vi seguirò fornendo consigli tecnici e piccoli trucchi specifici della fotografia analogica.
Sviluppo: La fase più delicata, dove l’immagine si rivela e si fissa sul supporto di acetato. Prepareremo i chimici, caricheremo i rulli nelle tank e svilupperemo le nostre fotografie.
Scansione: Scansioneremo i negativi, analizzando i risultati.

Attrezzatura necessaria
Macchina fotografica analogica 35mm (quelle con il rullino classico, non serve che siano Leica), taccuino o tablet per appunti.
*Pellicola 35mm, attrezzatura per sviluppo e chimici saranno forniti.
Requisiti necessari
È consigliato conoscere già le nozioni di tempi, diaframma e iso.

Le spese di trasporto da e per il luogo del corso, il vitto e l’alloggio non sono compresi nella quota di partecipazione.
